Infra Group – Verbraeken (www.infra-group.eu) is a contractor specialized in multi-disciplinary infrastructure works. The group employs 2,800 people in Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands and holds many certificates such as BE-Class 8 Construction, ISO 45001, ISO 9001, VCA**, ISO 14001, Achilles (EGS) and OHSAS 18001.

For the trenchless technique HDD, Infra Group is Belgian market leader since 1992. Thanks to the flexibility and knowledge of their drilling teams and the extensive park of drilling installations (up to 250T), they have a suitable solution for every assignment. In order to meet the growing demand for electric-powered worksite solutions and remain in the leading position, Infra Group invests in the first green HDD-rig in Belgium.

After careful selection the PD 80 Hybrid was chosen. The rig has a thrust/pullback force of 80 tons with a maximal torque of 45,000 Nm and can drill in heterogeneous geology, such as rock and gravel. Infra Group can thus provide electric solutions in trenchless techniques and fluid management. The benefits are a better control of the operational cost with less worksite impacts such as fuel consumption, emission, noise and installation footprint. The innovative investment in the Prime Drilling PD 80 Hybrid will support the customers of Infra Group with their objective to limit the environmental impact and anticipates on future regulations.
